Fashion industry icon, Tom Ford has a storied career with global brands including Gucci, Yves Saint Laurent, Perry Ellis and others.   Ford has been an actor, model, fashion designer, creative director, writer, and producer.  Originally an Art student at NYU, he studied architecture and design at Parsons School of Design in New York and Paris.

In 1990, Ford joined Gucci in Milan as the Womenswear Director.  He moved up quickly to lead ever more influential roles.  During Ford’s 13 years at Gucci, he reshaped both Gucci and YSL and saw their sales grow more than ten-fold.   After 10 years as Gucci Group’s Global Creative Director, Ford resigned and founded the Tom Ford brand.  Ford also founded the Fade To Black production company which has produced awarded films including ‘The Single Man’, starring Colin Firth and Julianne Moore.
